A New Year's Meme  
That I haven't done in two years...

1. What did you do in 2010 that you'd never done before?
Participated in a fest. regulus_fest, to be exact. I haven't decided yet whether it's something I'd do entirely regularly.

2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
For once, yes. I haven't decided yet whether I'll have another. Usually I don't even bother...

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
No, thank God.

5. What countries did you visit?
LOL! I'm stuck in America.

6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
A job.

7. What date from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
July. The month I discovered Queer as Folk. (I'm honestly quite bad at exact dates...)

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I started making money creating clothes for a friend.

9. What was your biggest failure?
My prolonged lack of self-confidence when it comes to writing.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
For once, no. I don't count colds.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
A new coat. I haven't had a new one in seven years, and it I got to get a designer brand and everything. That, or my QAF box sets.

12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
No one's, really.

13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
My best friend. She's just not growing up. I've ranted about her enough, though.

14. Where did most of your money go?
School. Always school.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Queer as Folk. I love, love, love Brian Kinney.

16. What songs will always remind you of 2010?
Faggoty Attention and Bossy Bottom. They make me laugh so much. I don't think either were written in this year, either.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:

I never really judge things from year to year like that.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Writing. Working. Many things

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
School work. I know, it's what University education is, but still...

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
I watched an anime about a tranny with a friend, then spent Christmas Day with family.

21. Did you fall in love in 2010?
Nope. I've decided I really don't care one way or another about it anymore.

22. How many one-night stands?
I don't do that sort of thing.

23. Best thing you ate?
Does trying a white russian count? That stuff was delicious. (Although, it was make with chocolate milk, but still...)

24. What was your favourite TV program(s)?
Queer as Folk. Oh my God.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I don't hate. I highly dislike, but don't hate.

26. What was the best book you read?
I haven't read a whole lot of books, sorry to say. There was Belfast Diaryby John Conroy, but that was for school.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
I rediscovered stuff. Like Muse and stuff.

28. What did you want and get?
A book on Mucha. (We can't afford a big Christmas...)

29. What did you want but didn't get?
A laptop. I'm doing that on my own.

30. What was your favourite film of this year?
The Black Swan ended up being pretty cool. I don't remember everything I've seen.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I was 21. And I don't remember. That's a little sad, for an American. Oh well.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
If I had gotten more creative work done. I've certainly done better.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2010?
I guess I tend to go for a more classic look. I've been trying to stay classy-looking.

34. What kept you sane?
Sleep? Not sure.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Gale Harold. *drools* And Shaun Haugh, for the past couple years...

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
Election for governor. Ironically, I missed the actual vote.

Not many people. I see people on a fairly regular basis.

38. Who was the best new person you met?
I met a lot of cool people in school, for once. I'd have to chose from among them...

I didn't really learn one...

I don't really have one.

Probably sometime when I was doing massive amounts of studying for school and worry about not failing Latin.

I don't even remember. Probably where I am now.

Alone, probably. Or with family.

45. Where will you be when 2010 ends?
Same.

Again, the same.

September. I was free from parents again, and I kept seeing friends I hadn't seen in a long time.

48. Did you drink a lot of alcohol in 2010?
Not really. I don't really drink a whole lot. I get the feeling I'll probably start drinking more this year, though.

49. Did you do a lot of drugs in 2010?
No. The closest I got was some weed, and I found out it doesn't do anything for me.

50. How many people did you sleep with in 2010?
None. I hate men. XP

51. Did you do anything you were ashamed of this year?
I'm sure I did. I don't think about it, though, since I can't do anything now.

52. What was the worst lie someone told you in 2010?
For as much as I lie, none are big enough for me to remember.

Never intentionally.

One of my friends, unintentionally.

55. How many concerts did you see in 2010?
None.

See above.
