Writer's Block: Fast-food TV
Are there any dreadfully bad TV shows that you wouldn't want your friends to know you watch? Confess! (This is LiveJournal, where we love you unconditionally.)

For all the dreadfully bad media that I love, TV isn't really one of them. At least, nothing that I make a concerted effort to watch on time every week. Hellcats is/was pretty bad, but everyone knew I watched that because I'm such a big fan of Gale's. I've watched some other really bad shows just because they're all that's on, and I'm the kind of person who likes the background noise. Shows like Operation Repo and a variety of paranormal investigator shows--The Haunted, Paranormal State, etc--but most the stuff I watch is either normal, or entertaining in some way.

I will admit, though, that I'm somewhat a fan of the shock-factor-shows. You know, the crime shows--I watch Bones when I can, and I used to watch the various Law and Order shows and Criminal Minds, although that's a little too unbelievable for me at times--or the ones that are true stories; my two favourites of the latter are Fatal Attractions--the people who owned animals that seriously injured/killed them...because the people who own chimps are weird--or the various animal cops ones. It's made me into a fairly large Humane Society/ASPCA supporter.
