Where I stand
I'm sick. I can't let it slow me down, at least by significant amounts; so I've been to Latin and Greek, although I'm skipping my history class. I've got a thesis proposal due on Thursday, and my plans for doing it on Irish in the West Indies has gone down the drain due to lack of sources. I've also got a paper and an exam due on Monday. Typical that all this happens at once.

Anyway, at the moment I'm drinking this herbal tea that a friend gave me, and I'm not sure if I like it, but I'm willing to give it a try. Besides, it can't be worse than what happened when I mixed Dayquil with caffeine and Benedryl.

My masterlist was in desperate need of updating. I think I've got it pretty much up-to-date; my original art is all up there now, and while I still haven't gotten the abortive Hold Onto Us up, the QAF one-shots are all up. When I first started the list, I was still very active in my other fandoms, and in order to be organized I figured it would be best to keep it alphabetized. Now I wonder...

I got a bit of a start on the tutorial that I was asked to do. I'm trying to avoid overloading her all at once, so I'm thinking I should start with a relatively simple concept, since she's still learning about things like lighting. I'm think the first part will be another of my sexy men, and I'll build up to doing things like fancy clothes and stuff, especially since, once you start adding textiles and folds in clothes and jewelry, things start getting very complicated.

Because it'll all be saved in a PDF file, I'll try to figure out how to put it up online, too.

And speaking of PDFs, I'm wondering if kachelofen, ever the practical Brit, has the right idea providing fics into PDF formats before things go down the shitter. I may just do that.

Really sorry to know that you are not okay. I hope the tea helps, but in my case such stuff usually doesn't, and I have to take something more 'serious'.

Get well, take care.

Warm hugs

I'm the type who goes all-out, and so I don't always know what it is that's helped, just that something has. My biggest problem usually ends up being dehydration.

Don't worry, though. I'm a tough cookie.
