Two Satoshi Kon movies
From Japanese director Satoshi Kon; don't let the fact that they're animated scare you off, either. They're as brilliantly conceived--and written--as any live-action movie.

You may or may not be able to watch both of these on Crunchyroll.com...I haven't checked yet, since I bought both through Amazon.

Tokyo Godfathers

A homeless drunk, a teen runaway, and a transient drag queen try to find a lost baby's mother. It's brilliant and hilarious. It's one of those movies I could watch over and over.

This is completely different from Tokyo Godfathers. I've read the description: If Inception and Japan had a love-child, which was then only fed shrooms. Really, though, there's no half-watching this movie and still being able to keep up. And Christopher Nolan was directly inspired by this movie for Inception; the movie is a little...well...scary at times. But still, worth a watch.
