Okay, so I skimped again on the background. The wall color isn't the important part, anyway.

I tried to draw chocolate mice; there's a bakery around here in Greektown that sells them, and they're filled with light, amaretto and chocolate mousse with a cookie on the bottom. It usually takes longer for me to get around to eating the, cause they're too cute.

Wow, that's decadently awesome. I especially like that you used a tiered tray for the goodies, and how a bit of red in everything matches the dress, that makes it very harmonious to the eye. Great job! :)

I had a bit of a hard time getting the blue in there, too, since without it her eyes would be entirely unnoticed. And as for the tiered tray...there were any number of foods I would have liked to put in this drawing, and it seemed the easiest way to go about it.

I still use a dinosaur of a monitor Chris bought in 1998, so it's not good enough to show blue in her eyes - that's one detail that escaped my notice.

Lol, yeah, it's the same as those little pastries, and I put it on her choker.

And you said you didn't need anything new for your computer!

Honestly? I'd rather stick with this Neolithic-age thing. I had a fancy-pants flat screen, but I'm a smoker and those things are sissy-pants with nicotine settling on the platines (and no way am I risking the couple thousand volts of electicity they store even unplugged to clean them off). The flat screen crapped out after just two years - new-fangled crap they are! Hmpf!

That's really, really great. My favourite bit's the necklace or collar or whatever you might call it, but the composition in general and the way she seems to be waiting for something/someone...it's all good stuff.

I was drawing that necklace and thinking the whole time about the type of designs my mother makes with thread (she's learning to make lace.) It's the type of thing she'd know how to make.

Now a real question: who is she waiting for...?

I already commented on the previous one, but will say this again: it's beautiful.
